Prescott Film Festival: Jacob's Lane
Wed Jul 15 2026 1:00PM – 3:17PM
Event Description:
Arizona - 1887. Prospector Jacob Bonner uncovered the largest gold nugget ever found—only to be ambushed and left mortally wounded. With his dying breath, he buried the treasure, taking its location to the grave. Over a century later, his great-great-grandson Lane races to find the lost gold and save the family ranch—before history repeats itself. Filmed and produced in Prescott Arizona! Preceded by the short film Come Out, Wherever You Are Vernon Parrish, a retired mayor from outside Chicago, moves to Livingston, Montana, seeking peace and anonymity. Six years later, his past resurfaces, forcing him into isolation at a remote cabin just as another kind of storm arrives—one that changes the world around him and leaves Verne both victim and beneficiary of circumstance. Tickets available at ycpac.com or (928) 776-2000.
